Cause

Print head, contact protector, or optional FINE cartridge is not installed properly.

What to Do

Open the top cover, and then push the print head locking cover (A) to make sure the print head is installed properly.

Next, push the joint button (B) firmly to the end.

Finally, push the cartridge locking cover (C) to make sure the contact protector or FINE cartridge is installed properly.

After that, close the top cover.

Important

• Remove the orange label and the protective tape of the print head to install it.
